Meet the Principal

Dear Loma Linda Community, 

My name is Joshua “Breezy” Briese, and I’m honored to share that I’ve been chosen as the new principal of Loma Linda School. As a long-time member of the Creighton School District and someone who’s been deeply involved in the life of this school community, stepping into this role feels both humbling and exciting.

Loma Linda has been my professional home for the past several years. I’ve worked in the Creighton School District for over 19 years, beginning as a 4th grade teacher at Excelencia School in 2006, and later serving as a Student Achievement Coach. In 2018, I became the Assistant Principal here at Loma Linda and have also served as Lead Assistant Principal, supporting schools across our district.

But more than any title or degree, what matters most to me is relationships with students, families, staff, and neighbors like you.

I believe Loma Linda School is a cornerstone of this neighborhood, and I want our school to reflect the strength and spirit of our community. As your new principal, I’m committed to being a visible, approachable, and collaborative partner. I’m eager to work with the Loma Linda Neighborhood Association and other community stakeholders to strengthen connections, celebrate what makes this area unique, and create more opportunities for our kids and families.

I look forward to listening, learning, and building together and I hope we can count on your partnership as we begin this next chapter for Loma Linda School.
